A skincare-themed forum and education campaign in Beijing marked the 12th National Skin Care Day on Friday.Incorporating scientific skincare techniques, reasonable cleaning, moisturizing and sunscreen use, the campaign was initiated by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association (CMDA) and Peking Union Medical College Hospital to unveil guidebooks to popularize scientific skincare information.According to the forum, skin cleansing is the foundation for skin health while moisturizing helps maintain a protective layer. Sunscreen is to protect skin from aging and lesions.The guidebooks focus on the three processes and use easy-to-understand language.
